Esther Meester

Esther Meester is a Senior Legal Advisor at the European Center for Not-for-Profit Law with expertise in issues related to freedom of association and the right to participate. Philanthropy and fundraising are among her key areas of focus. She provides legal and policy advice, monitors new developments, and supports partners in their efforts to promote a more enabling operating environment for civil society. Prior to joining ECNL, she managed multi-annual, global projects in development cooperation which included activities focused on strengthening regulatory and policy frameworks affecting civil society.
